Mac has the OS X El Capitan installed. It does not have any extra applications (like MS Word, Excel, etc.) It just has the base OS. Install the macOS installer

Double-click the downloaded file to open a window showing its contents. Then double-click the file within, named InstallMacOSX.pkg.

Begin installation
