I have the Doom.wad file already (thanks GoG) and I've got the latest version of GZDoom straight from the website. But for some reason, it absolutely refuses to create a file in Application Support, so I can't run the game. This is what I get when I try to run it: OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.3 (16D32) 64-bit Intel MLoadDefaults: Load system defaults.

If you saw Etrecheck flagging the newer version of Malwarebytes it may be due to the decision over at MWB to change the behavior of that application to a stay resident product much like many AV products for Mac.
