Is Quicken For Mac 2017 Compatible With High Sierra
Should you choose to venture there, I suggest that you make sure that Quicken 2017 for Mac will meet your needs, since it is not an upgrade from QM2007 but rather from Quicken Essentials (which was re-written from the ground up, starting in 2010), so there are some features that are still not there e.g. Full loan amortization., 2-line display, QuickMath, or are not as fully developed yet, e.g.

- edited August 2018BTW, High Sierra is macOS 10.13, not 11.

First, macOS High Sierra (HS) is not 11 but is 10.13 (the latest iOS for iPhones, iPads, etc, is v11).sorry to come into this post but I can't seem to find out here or on Google about Quicken 2007 and it's going to be compatible with OS 11, 10.13.. the new OS as of 9/25/17?
If you are truly asking about QM2007 and and not QM2017, early signs are that it seems to work on HS. A couple of users have reported back here that it is working but there is no confirmation as to whether that is with the old HFS+ drive format or the new APFS drive format.

Just loaded 10.13. How do I confirm file format?sorry to come into this post but I can't seem to find out here or on Google about Quicken 2007 and it's going to be compatible with OS 11, 10.13.. the new OS as of 9/25/17?
Two messages 'Quicken was unable to back up your file.' followed by 'Quicken was not able to automatically back up your file.'
These came after selecting where to do the back up (the usual place) and the 'file already exists warning. - edited September 2017
@Poobah17 thanks for confirming..sorry to come into this post but I can't seem to find out here or on Google about Quicken 2007 and it's going to be compatible with OS 11, 10.13.. the new OS as of 9/25/17?
Re: location of backup..
were you trying to change the location of your backups?
Did it not like your previous location and that is why you tried changing it?
Does it not work with your previous settings?
Are you trying to back up to the SATA or another drive? If another drive, is that drive also formatted as APFS?
I wonder if it is unable to do the filename change it usually does with backup files (pre-pending 1, 2, etc).Have Questions? Check out these FAQs:- Quicken Windows FAQ list

Created backup folder on my external drive where one copy of my Time Machine backups is. Pointed Quicken to back up there with the same result - edited September 2017
And was your TM drive updated to APFS too or is it still HFS+?sorry to come into this post but I can't seem to find out here or on Google about Quicken 2007 and it's going to be compatible with OS 11, 10.13.. the new OS as of 9/25/17?
The error messages you get, are they from trying to do a manual backup or by the Preferences settings, so the back up is triggered only when you quit QM2007?Have Questions? Check out these FAQs:- Quicken Windows FAQ list
