Follow this guide and download the TWRP recovery, drivers and things to start with.

Pre-Requisite:

  • Supported: Moto X Pure (clark)
  • Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
  • Download the latest Motorola USB Drivers
  • Download ADB and Fastboot Drivers [Download ADB SDK Platform Tools]
  • Lineage OS 16 zip file: Download [Only available for beta testing. Mail your request]

  • Download latest Gapps file:

Instructions to Install:

  1. First of all, You need to enable the developer option and activate the OEM unlock and USB debugging.
  2. Now you need to unlock the bootloader on your Moto X Pure.
  3. Once you have unlocked, you must install the latest TWRP Recovery on Moto X Pure.
  4. Now the guide will be easy, boot into TWRP Recovery
  5. You need to Decrypt and Re-Encrypt Data Partition on Moto X Pure.

Steps to Install Official LineageOS 14.1 on Moto X Pure (2015)

  1. Download Lineage OS 14.1 ROM for Moto X Pure (2015) and Gapps from above link
  2. Reboot your device into TWRP Recovery.
    1. Switch off your device.
    2. Press and hold “Volume down + Power” buttons until you see anything on the screen.
  3. Now in the TWRP main menu, Click on Wipe and swipe to factory reset on the bottom of the screen.
  4. Go back to the main menu in TWRP, tap on install and select the lineage OS zip file which you have saved in your device.
  5. After selecting the Lineage OS zip file, do swipe to confirm flash to begin the installation process.
  6. Once the installation process is completed, You will see Wipe cache/Dalvik option, tap on it and Swipe to wipe.
