So I've been searching through the forum looking for a solution to my problem. I found the 'Troubleshooting Tools - Windows' and tried all of those things but no luck. So I'm here posting to see if you can help me figure out the issue.
I'm running Windows 7, 16.4.2, Universal Control 1.7 (Also tried older version as well), Capture 2.
This is a machine that I just put together for the sole purpose of using it with the 16.4.2

Well, lets see.. is there a problem stated there somewhere? You are short on memory for digital recording for one thing..
This bothers me:
Status : No longer present, or disabled.

Maybe you could be more specific here what is going on?

From the look of it something is blocking your firewire connection (check your IRQ settings in device manager) or your firewire card is not functioning properly.

Thanks! I have another Firewire card coming which I'm hoping is the is the issue. The memory that the tester is reading isn't accurate which I find interesting. Either it is off or the tester is point out an issue with my RAM. I do agree that more will be better but before I go buy new/more RAM I want to make sure this system is going to work.
As for the question 'What are you trying to do', I'm just trying to get to get the computer to work with my 16.4.2 so I can use it for mixing as well as my iPad for remote control and Capture.
I have tried different drivers as described in this post http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/11348.page
I have tried different versions of Universal Control
I do have my studio computer that connected and worked flawlessly. It's just not the computer I want to take out and about.
Here is what Universal Control is telling me about the Fire wire card.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the driver not installing properly or something other than the firewire.

So I got the new Firewire card in the mail, swapped it out and everything worked like a charm!
