Apple have released a developer beta of their upcoming operating system named macOS High Sierra, which will be macOS 10.13. The name High Sierra continues on with their California landmarks with the name after a scenic CA region, it should be publicly available between September to November.

Lucklily for most the new macOS High Sierra 10.13 will run on the same machines as its predecessor macOS Sierra 10.12. Apple had already dropped support for any models pre late 2009 for MacBook and iMac. And anything pre 2010 for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and Mac Pro.

You’ll still require a 64bit Intel processor, 8GBs of free disk space – if upgrading, as appose to clean install min plus at least 2GB of RAM.

Sep 28, 2017 MySQL doesn’t come pre-loaded with macOS High Sierra and needs to be dowloaded from the MySQL site. The latest version of MySQL 5.7.19 does work with the public release of macOS. If you already have MySQL 5.7 and you have upgraded OS from El Capitan to Sierra I expect that to be ok, but will be interested if anyone comments on that. Today morning I upgraded my MacBook to High Sierra (Version 10.13) Now, my MySQL workbench (6.3.9) is behaving weirdly after this OS update. 1) When opened a fresh and executed simple select statement, workbench does not show results grid after query is executed. 2) When same/another select query is executed again, nothing comes up. I happened across this report after updating to High Sierra 0.13.3 (17D47) and then not seeing query results. I followed the advice and updated to MySQL Workbench 6.3.10 but not it's not recognizing the connection using idrsa key. Keeps asking for the password. I can ssh directly into the server as my user with the key in place without a problem.
