Oct 16, 2014  In theory, Apple's OS X Yosemite update is for everybody. And in a way, it is - almost anyone can download it for free, so long as they have a Mac that came out sometime in. It would appear that since updating to OS X 10.10.4 it has actually finally fixed it for me! I dunno about the person who lost a bunch of their photos (Foxfyr) but for me, it looks like the latest update of OS X Yosemite has taken care of the problem. Hope everyone else works out this issue!!

Check compatibility

You can upgrade to OS Yosemite on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 8GB of available storage space.
