Oct 26, 2016 PlayMemories needs to support EVERY Browser on the planet. This needs to be fixed yesterday! I have a Mac OS Sierra Version10.12.5 I connect my Sony CyberShot and PlayMemories opens. I click Import. The import is done. I disconnect. Now is the problem: I now receive the beach ball of death and cannot access my photos. 'PlayMemories Studio' Basic Operations (PlayStation®3) Welcome to 'PlayMemories Studio'! With 'PlayMemories Studio', you can view your memorable photos and videos on a large TV screen simply by connecting a camera, video camera or USB storage device to the USB port of the PlayStation®3.
Check compatibility
You can upgrade to macOS Sierra from OS X Lion or later on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 8.8GB of available storage space.

Get connected
It takes time to download and install macOS, so make sure that you have a reliable Internet connection. If you're using a Mac notebook computer, plug it into AC power.
Download macOS Sierra
For the strongest security and latest features, find out whether you can upgrade to macOS Catalina, the latest version of the Mac operating system.
If you still need macOS Sierra, use this link: Download macOS Sierra. A file named InstallOS.dmg will download to your Mac.
Install the macOS installer
Double-click the downloaded file to open a window showing its contents. Then double-click the file within, named InstallOS.pkg.
Follow the onscreen instructions, which will guide you through the steps necessary to install.
Begin installation
After installation of the installer is complete, open the Applications folder on your Mac, then double-click the file named Install macOS Sierra.
Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. You might find it easiest to begin installation in the evening so that it can complete overnight, if needed.
Allow installation to complete
Please allow installation to complete without putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac might restart, show a progress bar, or show a blank screen several times as it installs both macOS and related updates to your Mac firmware.

Importing images to your Mac (Wi-Fi)
Import images to your Mac via Wi-Fi using [Wireless Auto Import].
Install the latest version of PlayMemories Home (Mac).
If you install PlayMemories Home (Mac) ver. 3.3.00 or later, [Wireless Auto Import] will be installed at the same time (*).
* Do not uninstall [Wireless Auto Import] from the application list.

Register the access point to your camera.
Is there a WPS button on the access point?
If Yes:
Select [MENU] > [Setup] > [WPS Push] on the camera. Follow the instructions and press the WPS button on the access point within 2 minutes. When the message [Registered] appears, access point registration has finished. Skip the next step and go straight to '3. Configure PlayMemories Home (Mac)'.
If No:
Confirm the SSID (network name) and password (encrypted key or security key) on the access point. Select [MENU] > [Setup] > [Access Point Settings] on the camera, and proceed to the next 'Is the access point displayed on the camera?'.

Select [Manual Setting] and proceed to the next 'Does your access point accept the WPS PIN code?'.

If Yes:
Select [WPS PIN]. Input the 8-digit number displayed under [PIN code] to the access point within two minutes. The PIN code will change every time. Refer to the manual for your access point when inputting the number. When the message [Registered] appears, access point registration is finished. Skip the next step and go straight to '3. Configure PlayMemories Home (Mac)'.
If No:
Select [Manual Registration (Manual Regist) ] and proceed to the next 'Enter the settings for manual registration.'
Enter the settings for manual registration.
Select the entry field for the SSID to display the keyboard, and then enter the SSID. Follow the instructions. When the message [Registered] appears, access point registration is finished. Go to the next step.
Configure PlayMemories Home (Mac).
Click [PlayMemories Home] > [Preferences..] to display the [Settings] menu.
Mac Sierra Download
Click [Wireless Auto Import] > [Set].
Enter the User Name and Password for your Mac and then click [OK]. An [Alert] window will be displayed.
Connect your camera and Mac using a USB cable.
Sony Playmemories For Mac
Turn on your camera. When the message [Connect your camera and Mac using a USB cable, and then click OK.] appears, connect your camera and Mac using a USB cable. Then, click [OK].
When the message [This computer has been set as the wireless import device for your camera.] appears, configuration is complete.
Click [OK] and then disconnect the USB cable from your camera and Mac.
Import the images wirelessly from your camera to your Mac.
Playmemories For Mac Sierra Pro
Select [MENU] > [Wireless] > [Send to Computer] on the camera connected to the access point to wirelessly transfer images saved on the camera.
