Quicken For Os X Yosemite 2017

Os x yosemite upgrade download

Os X El Capitan

  • May 21, 2017  I finally uninstalled and resumed with 2007 whose files, thankfully, Quicken 2015 does not mess with. I am running 'Quicken Mac 2007 OS X Lion compatible' on Mountain Lion. Until there are better assurances that Quicken 2007 will work with Yosemite, I will have to pass on upgrading.
  • In this method, the Mac OS X Yosemite will be installed on the existing startup drive. After you create the bootable installer on your USB drive you can plug in it to the Mac PC or laptop and go through the steps to install the Yosemite installer file. System Requirements for Mac OS X Yosemite. 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB storage, OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
Quicken

Quicken 2015 worked on OS X 10.7+ but Quicken 2016 no longer supports anything earlier than Yosemite. Note that there’s no free trial of Quicken 2016 for Mac but you can get it for $49.99 from Amazon, from the Mac App Store for $74.99 or $74.99 directly.

is there a patch I can add for my mac if I'm Yosemite X (10.10.5)??? wont work unless it's 10.11

Are you trying to run Quicken for Mac 2018? That's the only version that requires 10.11 El Capitan.
Here's an article on how to download El Capitan and which computers can run it:
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206886
However, if your system can run 10.12 or 10.13, I would upgrade to the latest version of macOS your system can handle.

I'm on the older version 2015 build 14F27 (yosemite x) 10.10.5 is the 'latest' when I go in the apple settings.--
let me see if clearing more space will allow for another upgrade..

april, I'm sorry, I'm not following at all what you are asking.
Can you restate your question more precisely? What version of macOS do you currently have installed? What version of Quicken Mac are you trying to run?

And what model Mac (shown in About This Mac on the Apple menu)? Are you saying your Mac is not capable of running a version of macOS beyond Yosemite because it's an old computer (e.g. an iMac or MacBook Pro older than the mid-2007 models)?
You mention looking in Apple settings, but you find operating system upgrades in the App Store. The link @RickO posted above details how to download El Capitan if you need it, assuming your Mac can run it. And as far as Quicken is concerned, you only need this if you're trying to run Quicken 2018; Quicken 2017 and earlier will run on Yosemite.
