Vlc for mac snow leopard free download. In order not to purchase many dongles (and spend too much on the Apple Store) I had a look on the usual sites and found a nice one from Cable Matters (no, sadly I have no sponsorship from. Nov 27, 2009 Of course, Linksys doesn’t provide Mac drivers for this product, but it’s a Ralink 2870 and Ralink provides drivers for MacOS X in their support section. I downloaded the RTUSB D2870-2.0.0.0 UI-2.0.0.020091002.dmg driver (5.2 MB).
All.. I have spent ages of time on this and rather than let others struggle I felt I should post here.
First I am on 10.9 but I had the same problem with 10.8 ( Desktop / Laptop ).
I tried a number of different versions of the drivers both from the OEM and community.
In the end I managed to get a copy of RTUSB_D2870-4.2.9.10_UI-5.0.0.01.dmg which is no longer on the OEMs web site for some reason.
With out the USB installed I installed the drivers using the installer.
Rebooted and then plugged in the USB - the wireless utill came up.
One tip I have found is if it does not come up first time pull the USB out - wait a few moments and then put it back in.
I hope that helps some one..
