Virtual Box For Mac Os X Lion

It is a free and powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product available for most of the operating systems such as Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris and ported version for FreeBSD. Read wiki about VirtualBox. You can follow our blog for new images we release for VirtualBox. Name your vertical machine as “OSX” and choose “Mac OS X” from OS menu, and “Mac OS X Server” from Version menu. Choose some RAM for your VM. We`ve chosen 1500MB. Create a new hard disk for your virtual machine that will be approx. 20GB; Go to “Settings” and choose “System”. Running VirtualBox¶. Load all the kernel extension modules. These can be found in out/darwin.x86/release/dist along with a small script ( loadall.sh) to load them. Execute and make sure the modules loads successfully. Enter out/darwin.x86/release/dist/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/.

  1. Virtualbox For Mac Os X 10.7

I am having a similar 'Failed to initialize COM' problem on Mac OS X 10.7.5, VirtualBox 4.2.2. I have wasted over six hours alone trying to address the issue, and it's still unresolved. My message:

'

Lion

Failed to initialize COM because the VirtualBox global configuration directory /Users/username/Library/VirtualBox is not accessible. Please check the permissions of this directory and of its parent directory.

The application will now terminate.

There is no such VirtualBox folder in my user Library folder. It is trying to locate a non-existent directory.

The closest workaround I could find that enabled VirtualBox to open was to create a brand new admin level user, log in to that user account, then install VirtualBox and run under that account. Works great, until I log out and try to run VirtualBox on my primary admin account, which results in the same 'failed to initialize COM' error.

Sorry, same thing after reinstall, also this app will NOT work anyway, on Android 8 without root, be cause ports limitation, I tried another app which treat this (and you don't:P ), and changed default samba ports. But, far too much work to connect from windows on samba with custom port (and I'm not in the mood to play money to buy a paid app for a simple transfer), therefore I solved my problem by using an FTP server witch worked flawlessly with custom port;). Download samba for os x 2. By purchasing this item, you are transacting with Google Payments and agreeing to the Google Payments. I have found no helpful advice geared towards Mac OS X users to troubleshoot or resolve this issue. You can try posting on Oracle's VirtualBox forum. Good luck.
