- Download WhatsApp for Mac OS X
Go to official download page of WhatsApp, and click on “Download for Mac OS X” button. - Extract WhatsApp.zip
Once the download is complete, you can fiind “WhatsApp.zip” in your “Downloads” folder. Double click on this file to extract “WhatsApp.app”. - Install WhatsApp in Mac OS X
Drag “WhatsApp.app” file into “Applications” folder. To launch WhatsApp in your Mac, press “F4” and click on WhatsApp icon. You might get some warning similar to what is shown in the image below, ignore them and open WhatsApp. - Login to WhatsApp for Mac OS X
Now take your mobile phone, open WhatsAppp, and go to “WhatsApp web”, and there use your camera to scan the QR code from your Mac’s WhatsApp.
