Is my mac too old for high sierra

I'm using my Mac to take a big test in March and I don't want to take HUGE risks (a little risk is probably OK), but I'm concerned about whether my Mac is just too old to take the update. I've checked out some websites but the best answer seems to be to check with the community.


Is there anyone out there with a 2014 MBP Retina or older device who has upgraded yet? Anyone heard anything about how far back it's safe to upgrade?
