Usb 2.0 Ethernet Adapter Driver For Mac Sierra
The TU2-ET100 is a high-speed USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet adapter that allows you to easily connect to a 10/100 Mbps network from a USB enabled desktop, MacBook®, ChromeBook™, or notebook PC. Compliant with USB 2.0 and backwards compatible with the USB 1.1 and 1.0, you can share files and printers and gain acces.
My ethernet port fried due to a thunderstorm power surge so purchased adapter.
It came with asix drivers AX88772B and A which would not load, probably not for Mac OSX Sierra so searched forums and downloaded and installed Asix latest drivers 88179 for USB3.0 to Ethernet.
Followed instructions and after install went to hardware USB showed driver installed but no mention of manufacturer just that component is there.
Went to Network in System preferences but no mention of USB Ethernet being installed .
Any ideas?
